MEI Assistant - Internal Company Use Only
This Privacy Policy describes how MEI Assistant ("the App") collects, uses, stores, and protects information when used by authorized employees. The App is owned and operated by Robert H Manley III and is intended solely for internal company use.
By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
1. Scope and Intended Use
MEI Assistant is a private internal mobile application designed exclusively for company employees. It is not intended for public use, consumer access, marketing purposes, or use by minors. Access is limited only to authorized personnel.
2. Information Collected
The App collects only limited personal information required for account creation and usage, specifically the user’s name and email address. No phone numbers, employee identification numbers, job titles, roles, or additional personal identifiers are collected. The App may also collect user-entered content and activity data generated during normal use, such as internal notes and task-related actions, solely to support internal functionality.
3. Account Registration and Access
Users are required to create an account and authenticate before accessing the App. Access is strictly limited to approved employees, and unauthorized access is prohibited.
4. Device Permissions
The App does not request, access, or use any device permissions. This includes, but is not limited to, camera access, microphone usage, location services, contacts, photos or media files, and calendar data.
5. Data Storage
User information is stored securely on the user’s device and on protected servers owned and controlled by the App owner. No user data is stored, processed, or managed by third-party platforms other than essential infrastructure services.
6. Data Retention
User data is retained for as long as the user maintains an active account. When a user deletes their account, all associated data is removed in accordance with the App’s internal data handling and deletion procedures.
7. Third-Party Services
The App uses limited third-party services strictly for operational purposes, including cloud hosting and push notification delivery. No third-party analytics, advertising, tracking, marketing, payment processing, authentication, or monitoring services are used.
8. Data Sharing and Access Control
User data is not shared with any third parties. Company administrators and employers do not have access to individual user data. All information collected is used only within the App to support its intended internal functionality.
9. User Rights and Controls
Users have full control over their information, including the ability to view, update, and delete their personal data and account directly within the App. Privacy-related requests can be submitted through the App interface.
10. Data Security
Appropriate administrative and technical safeguards are implemented to protect user information, including access restrictions and secure server environments. While no system can guarantee complete security, reasonable measures are in place to minimize risk.
11. Privacy Policy Updates
This Privacy Policy may be updated periodically. Any changes will be reflected by updating the “Last Updated” date. Continued use of the App after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
12. Governing Law
This Privacy Policy is governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, United States.
